My youngest daughter is known for her hair. It has been her trademark from birth. It was the first thing the doctors mentioned as she was being born; the nurses kept commenting how she already had a hair style from day one; people would stop us and always say something about her hair when we walked through the mall. We have all gotten used to it.
Last year we finally cut her hair and donated a ponytail to Locks of Love. She still had lots of hair left, so it wasn’t too drastic of a change. A few weeks ago, we finally decided it was time to donate again, but we knew that we did not have as much as last time. So, we braced for the change. It was a big change, and now we have a bouncy, free five-year-old.
